Praise the Lord, for Our God Inhabits Praise

Luke 19:37-40 The Rocks and Stones Will Cry Out

Luke 19:37-40     Then, as He [Jesus] was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying:

“ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”

But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”

Psalm 146:1     Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul!

Psalm 147:1     Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.

Psalm 148:1     Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!

Psalm 148:13     Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

Romans 15:11     And again:  “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!”
