Learning to Hear and Trust God’s Voice

Psalm 143:8

Psalm 143:8   Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.   Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Deuteronomy 31:6    Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you.   He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5    Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,   “Never will I leave you;  never will I forsake you.”

Isaiah 43:2    When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.   When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Proverbs 3:5-6    Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Isaiah 42:16    I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known.   I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight.   These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.

Jeremiah 29:11    “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Matthew 6:6-8    But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.   And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.   For they think that they will be heard for their many words.   Therefore do not be like them.   For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Matthew 6:33    But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Philippians 4:6    Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Philippians 4:13    I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:19    And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:13-21    So I ask you not to lose heart [not to faint or become despondent through fear] at what I am suffering in your behalf.   [Rather glory in it] for it is an honor to you.  For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].

May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts!  May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];   [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.   Amen (so be it).

2 Corinthians 9:8    And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all-sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
