Those Who Know Your Name Put Their Trust In You

Psalm 9:10
Psalm 9:10   And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

“I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands, that I still possess”    – Martin Luther

Psalm 22:4-5    In You our fathers trusted; they trusted, and You delivered them. To You they cried and were rescued; in You they trusted and were not put to shame.

Psalm 37:3-6    Trust in the Lord, and do good;  dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.  Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.  He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say to the Lord,
“My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

For He will deliver you
from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with His pinions,
and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

You will not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place
the Most High, Who is my refuge
no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.

For He will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.

On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

“Because he holds fast to me in love,
I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows My Name.
When he calls to Me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Psalm 118:6-9    The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.  What can man do to me?  The Lord is on my side as my helper;  I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.

Psalm 125:1-2    Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Proverbs 3:5-6    Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 29:25    The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

Isaiah 12:1-2    You will say in that day:  “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me,  your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.  “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.”

Isaiah 26:3-4    You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

Jeremiah 17:5-8    Thus says the Lord:  “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.  He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.”

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
